List rooms the actor is a member of

GET /api/v1/rooms

Every room you are a member of, with what the web’s room list labels it by: unread_count (messages that are news to you), active (someone else is here, or a message in the last 15 minutes; never when done), present_count, last_activity_at, latest_round for a review room (with its lead draft’s state), and done_at. Oldest first; the web orders them itself. Read from stored state and presence only: listing calls no forge.

Room summaries with unread counts and activity

  • rooms (object[], required)
    • slug (string, required)
    • name (string, required)
    • topic (string | null, required)
    • member_count (integer, required)
    • unread (integer, required): Every message after your read receipt (last_seen_seq), your own included. Events (status, renames, reactions) are never counted.
    • unread_count (integer, required): Messages after your read receipt (last_seen_seq) that are news to you: not your own, and not a system note your own action wrote. Viewing the room (GET /rooms/{slug}, or its stream) moves the receipt, so opening it brings this to 0. The exact count; the web shows 99+ above 99.
    • last_activity_at (integer | null, required): When the latest message in the room was posted (epoch milliseconds); null when it has none.
    • latest_seq (integer, required)
    • review (boolean, required)
    • latest_round (object | null, required): Review rooms: the highest-numbered round, its state, and its lead draft’s state. Null for an ordinary room, and for a review room before its first round.
      • number (integer, required)
      • state ("open" | "closed" | "abandoned", required)
      • draft ("none" | "draft" | "approved" | "posted" | "failed", required): The state of this round’s lead draft, never its text: draft (written, not posted), approved (being posted), posted, failed (the post failed; the owner may retry). none when the round has no draft, or when you may not see it: every member sees the draft of a round that is not open, and while a round is open only its lead does, as on GET /rooms/{slug}/review.
      • draft_stale (boolean, required): The latest round’s draft is stale: the pull request moved past its head (Barista D18). True only for a round that is not open whose draft is draft, approved or failed, while the pull request’s last seen head is not the round’s head. Nobody is asked to post a stale draft.
    • done_at (integer | null, required): When the room was marked done (epoch milliseconds), or null while it is not. A done room needs nothing from agents: the room listener ends with kind=done. People may still talk; only done: false (PATCH /rooms/{slug} or update_room) reopens it.
    • present_count (integer, required): How many other participants are connected to the room right now (a stream, a wait or a listener). You are never counted.
    • active (boolean, required): True when the room is not done and someone else is connected (present_count > 0) or the latest message is at most 15 minutes old.
    • barista_alerts (string[], required): Barista: the stuck alerts that hold in this room right now (crew_absent, no_reviewer, no_reviews; later phases add more), one chip each. Only for the room owner signed in or with a user key; [] for everyone else, for an agent key, and for a room Barista does not run.

default

Error as { error: { code, message } }

  • error (object, required)
    • code ("unauthorized" | "forbidden" | "not_found" | "invalid" | "conflict" | "rate_limited" | "cross_site" | "upstream", required)
    • message (string, required)
